5 Reasons Why I Prefer Older Women
Pintrest

I've been able to be around and converse with women from many different walks of life. I've met women from different races, age groups, religions, and social classes. In my experience, it appears as if the older women typically are more appealing despite the fact that I'm only 21 now. As the photo shows some of these older women are clearly downright gorgeous even as they get into their 60's. I'm not saying that I'm not attracted to older women, however here are five reasons that the older women, as long as they are under 45, are my preference.

1. Older women typically have more time to offer.

Younger women, my age, are usually busy with crazy work schedules, college courses, and other time-consuming ventures. While many of the women that are from age 30-45 are still working, many have been doing so for years and in my experience have a better balance of the work and social life aspect. Many older women don't go to the club as often leaving more quality time with their spouse rather than rushed time in public.

2. Older women are typically ready to build.

I'm not saying I'm rich but I have saved money and my spending habits aren't that of the typical women that I know that are my age. Frivolous spending and not saving money are habits that I have not acquired and an older woman typically would have a similar financial mindset. At 45 a woman is looking to build for retirement and I'm starting that process early so it would be nice to get involved with someone that's like minded already and perhaps more knowledgeable than me when it comes to certain financial ideas.

3. Older women typically DON'T play games.

Many young women have left me guessing about their feelings and other things that an older woman won't typically do. Women, as they mature, seem to be better able to express their feelings in a mature manner and look towards a solution rather than moping around. Not all young women "play games" but many are still trying to find themselves and learning how to express themselves in a manner that makes sense not just to themselves but to their spouse as well.

4. Ironically, older women tend to be more into what I'm into.

Many younger women love to party and flock to the club/parties nearly every weekend. I'm not completely opposed to those places, however, I'm more adventurous and prefer to do things like drive go-karts, go skydiving, or take a helicopter ride. Surprisingly it's been the women from that 30-45 crowd in my experience that have been more responsive to these types of dates and more open minded to seeing different types of movies or eating different types of foods. Again not all young women are close minded, however too many that I've spoken with have been that way.

5. Older women typically treat you like a mother would.

I can cook, clean, and do laundry for myself, however, it's nice to have a woman that is willing to do those same things. Some women in my age group tend to be lazy or unaware of how to do these things or other things such as ironing clothes and vacuuming. I would rather have someone to trade off these responsibilities with than someone that I would have to clean up after or cook for all the time on top of feeding me.

So again I say that I do like young women and I'm not solely chasing down cougars! In my experience, the older women seem to be more compatible with me and for these reasons I say that I prefer older women.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
