If "The Office" characters were all in your group project, which one would be which? Dwight for sure the overachiever... but what about Pam, Meredith, Creed, Stanley...? If you can't name anyone in your group who one is, then you are that person.

1. Dwight Schrute: the overachiever

This group member is always the one texting your group chat at 2 a.m. asking you where everyone is at on the project. They're always working on this project and goes above and beyond in research, writing the essay, and presenting. They're usually the ones doing the talking in presentations because they know their shit.

2. Jim Halpert: the one with the jokes

The Jim of the group sometimes gives meaningful additions to the project, but Jim is always the one that adds humor. He's always cracking jokes. Although, he does work hard and tries to get the job done. He's usually charismatic in the presentations and can talk in front of people very easily. He also gives it to you real, so that's nice. Plus, he's pretty attractive too.

3. Michael Scott: the one who tries to be funny, does not work at all, but still shows up to meetings

The Michael is lovable but annoying at times. When you're trying to get stuff done, the Michael is always either looking at memes, thinking of funny and inappropriate jokes, or trying to have a meeting about something stupid. Michael is definitely the annoying one of the group.

4. Darryl: the hardworking one

The Darryl can be lazy at times, but he knows how to work hard and get the job done. He's not the overachiever. He knows how to delegate and probably is the group leader but doesn't want to take on any new positions. Darryl is nice. You should befriend Darryl. Darryl is awesome.

5. Kevin: the lovable one that does no work

You keep the Kevin around because he's sweet but you give him no work to do because Kevin is an interesting one. The Kevin doesn't do any work. But the member is funny and you gotta give him some love!!!! (and hot dogs)

6. Angela: the cranky one

The Angela is the Debbie Downer of the group. They'll say you have to do this, even though the professor said you could skip over that section. Similar to the overachiever, they want to go above and beyond and just be extra AF. She'll be the first one to give bad evaluations of group members, *rolls eyes*.

7. Stanley: the lazy one

Yeah, you won't hear from this member until the last possible second, but they'll do their assignments! They just won't meet with you all because they hardly even go to class.

8. Creed: the one you'll never see

He'll disappear as soon as you get your group project assignment. And no one knows where he is, not even the professor.

9. Ryan: the frat boy

He can't come to the meeting because he has a "fraternal obligation." He's cracking open a cold one with the boys, actually. He's wearing his letters, chubbies, and a visor to class. He is good at public speaking but that's only because he prides himself on talking to girls.

10. Kelly: the overly peppy one

She'll beautify your PowerPoint and put little hearts over the I's, make each slide a different color, and add animations. She prides herself on her sorority. She comes to class with her S'well water bottle, laptop covered in stickers, hair in a ponytail, ready to work. Literally, she is everything that you hate. Steer clear.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
