This week, I get to dedicate this lovely Odyssey Spotlight to none other than my multimedia coordinator, Julia Gordy. Julia has spent the entirety of her college years mastering the art of filmmaking, photography, and captivating readers with her wise and powerful opinions. She currently serves as a Producer for Odyssey, as well as a writer for my own staff base.

During last month's monumental posts about domestic violence awareness, Julia spoke out about her own battles, as well as how she overcame the struggle of her own assault as a pre-teen. Fast forwarding to the present, she recently recorded a video of her struggles of being handcuffed to her boyfriend, Kyle, for 24 hours. I am proud to have Julia on my team, as one of my very own best friends, and as my future roommate. Here's to you, Julia!
