Last summer I made one of my greatest decisions in life, to start Grey's Anatomy on Netflix. I instantly became obsessed with the one and only McDreamy. Those were the good ole days; we had Izzy, George, Mark, and Lexie or as I like to call them, "The Original Squad." But then Seattle Grave Mercy Death took my favorites away from me. While Keppner, Avery, and the other Shepherd are fine and dandy, they will never be the same. I watched religiously until I finally got caught up to the episodes being played on TV right now, and might I say it was an awful choice.

The worst thing I could have ever imagined happened. First Christina left to take the job in Switzerland. Then, my worst nightmares became a gut wrenching reality: Derek was in a fatal car accident and left us forever. So I have decided to remincise on his greatest moments (and looks).

There was the first time they met, when Derek become more than just the guy from the bar and was Meredith's attending. That is when he began to steal the hearts of us all with his sweet words and dashing good looks.

Then there was the moment that Derek become "that guy" and we found out he was married to Addison and had been lying the whole time.

But it wasn't even his fault; he managed to sweep both girls off their feet with his charm and good looks.

Finally, fate could not keep them apart, and Meredith and Derek ended up together and stole the hearts of us all.

And then they adopted and African child; together like omg does it get any cuter? I could sit and watch Derek and Zola all day.

And then there was his friendship with Mark, although it got off to a bit of a rocky start in the show. Once they got over some issues (aka Addie) their adorable bromance was the best part of that hospital.

And along came Baily, Derek and Meredith's second baby and first son.

So thank you Derek/McDreamy/Dr. Shepherd for 11 seasons of good looks, adorable relationships and many beautiful days to save lives.
