This decade-long debacle has torn apart nut butter lovers and foodies alike. Which side are you on?
Nutella, being a chocolatey hazelnut spread, is most commonly enjoyed for breakfast but has developed more of a presence in dessert-type foods. Whether spread on toast, slathered between waffles or French toast, Nutella adds the perfect touch of cocoa sweetness to any plate.
Peanut butter, an all-time American classic, has been devoured for years. My fondest memory of the creamy goodness resorts back to the lunchbox days. You knew it was a good day when your mom left you a generous PB&J, oozing from the sides.
Both Nutella and peanut butter can be consumed in so many deliciously creative ways; the possibilities are endless.
Try PB or Nutella with pretzels...
...or on rice cakes for a quick snack.
On your oatmeal in the mornings:
With Oreos (one of my personal favorites):
Or baked in-between anything
Dunk strawberries in Nutella
Apple-Nachos!!!
Scrape up some PB with carrot sticks or create ants on a log ( seriously, SO GOOD)
But try not to eat this lil' guy.
For all those diehard fans, the only true way to eat it is with a spoon straight from the jar.
No matter what side you’re on, just remember that us PB and Nutella enthusiasts are sweet people with an even sweeter tooth.
