As someone who is just recently turning eighteen, I've been thinking over all the things I can and can't do now. The things I can and can't do as a legal adult. Though most people say you're not an adult until you're at least twenty-five, I can still legally do a few things I wasn't able to do before like:
1. Vote
Which in this day and age is very, very important.
2. Buy a lottery ticket
Or in my case, buy a scratch ticket because you know, those are the most fun, even if you just win a dollar or two.
3. Volunteer at animal shelters
This is something near and dear to my heart and I'm happy I can finally go and volunteer to socialize a few cats at my favorite rescue.
4. Get arrested
I mean hey... I could before but more so now.
5. Be taken seriously
I can finally take charge and not be brushed off as a child.
6. Get a tattoo
Because why not, gotta start somewhere.
7. Sell sh*t online
Again, why not?
8. Get a hotel room
You know, for those out of state concerts, I'm looking at you Kcon.
9. Legally drive others in my car
...Legally.
10. Buy cigarettes
Not that I want to... but I can.
11. Get into a club
Again, not that I want to, but hey.
12. Play pool somewhere other than an arcade
Self explanatory.
13. Not get in the way of my older friends
They can finally drag me places and not have to worry.
14. Act like the boss ass bitch that I am
Nuff' said.
