It's early November and you know what that means. Christmas. Yeah, you read that right. IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR. People are already putting up their decorations and Christmas trees. Then there's the Scrooges of the world that are judging your every Christmas move before Thanksgiving. What's that? You're still eating leftover Halloween candy and waiting for Thanksgiving? I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of Santa Baby playing in the background.
Why the hell do you care if someone else puts there tree up early? Or breaks out all their Christmas sweaters? None of that has anything to do with you. It's none of your business anyways if I'm blasting Mariah Carey's Christmas album and drinking a peppermint mocha on the first day of November.
Chistmas time makes people happy, so they love cracking it open just a tad bit early. Christmas is about giving, spreading love, and spending lots of time with family. Why wouldn't you want to celebrate that for a few months rather than just for one?
It's not just the most wonderful time of the year. It's also the most beautiful time of the year. Excuse me for wanting to live in the magic of that for more than 31 days.
This year, stop being a Scrooge, pour yourself a glass of eggnog, and hang up those lights that make you cuss about 10 times while putting up. It's okay, we won't judge.
