For better or for worse, Henry Charles Bukowski is my idol. He would hate being called that, but it's the best and most concise way of saying that I admire everything he was, did and created. His first big break took the shape of an autobiographical newspaper column called Notes of a Dirty Old Man. Though I'm not quite as dirty as he was, I'm also far from clean. The following poems play with words in an attempt to unravel the mess of thoughts we all carry around in our heads.
