Moving to the South for college has taught me a lot about myself and the similarities and differences between these two parts of the United States. While I was hesitate at first to attend college in Louisiana, I now know that it is one of the best choices I have made in my life. The experiences I've had are some of the best in my short life and I look forward to many more.

The North and South of the United States are often seen as complete polar opposites. While this is true in some cases (such as their political views), there are many cases in which people are actually very similar from one part of the country to another.

In this video, I discuss three differences that I have noticed while living in the South and a few similarities. Even though I've only been here for a bit over a year, I've learned a lot about Louisiana and the South.
