Why I Have No Ragrets Living On The Edge

Will facing my fear be the remedy?

I have always had a fear of heights because I had the idea that I might fall and die.
Having an older sister has always been a gift to me. People who know her and I say that we are alike and have similar personality characteristics. The more you get to know us the differences between us are hard to see. We are both adventurous but in our own way. She will go and ride the craziest roller coaster while I am siting far away and waiting for the ride to end. Roller coasters were a nightmare, but at the same time I have always been curious of how people feel riding it. My sister didn’t want me to miss out on the fun so she kept insisting for me to ride it with her. I had no choice but jumping on a rapid-fire one. In the image bellow you can see me and my teeth. Maybe all of them but not because I was smiling.

With a continuous positive mindset, I decided to face my fear again on our next adventure. Ziplining was our next destination. When I arrived there I started asking myself, "Can I do it? Am I too heavy for this? Shall I blame it on the donuts I’ve been devouring?" And so on. My friend, who was in the line for the zipline said that she becomes more courageous when she sees people who are afraid of something doing it. It might sound familiar to what most people say, “Look she’s five and she did this… shame on you, you can do it.”
Psychology and communication are very important in our lives. Someone might come and tell you something that will ruin your day and maybe your life as well. Inversely, someone might say the same thing to you but in a different manner, and it will positively impact your outlook on a situation.

Thanks to my friend, I finally did like what Tarzan did, but instead I zip lined through the Atlas Mountains. It was little scary, but I'm glad I did it. I have “no ragrets," and I would recommend anyone to do what I did.

I learned that if you Face your fears, you will be pleasantly surprised. I hope my journey inspires you to try something new and to not be afraid to face your fears. Convince yourself and you’ll be thankful for the pictures later.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
