A Timeline Of A Night With Visitors

After graduation, what seems like the typical scenario is that many groups of friends split up and go their separate ways for college. Yes, it is sad to branch away from everyone but one great thing comes out of it: visiting all the different colleges your friends go to. This is how an average day goes when you have seven girls stay with you for one night.

2:30 PM: Finish your last class of the day.

3:00 PM: Attempting to cram in the rest of the homework you have due the next day.

4:00 PM: You sneak in a quick review session before your exam later that evening.

5:01 PM: Grab a quick dinner to fuel up for the rest of your daily activities.

6:15 PM: Head over to your testing location.

6:30 PM: Exam starts.

7:15 PM: Finished your exam, now time to head home.

7:31 PM: You make it home to discover there are clothes everywhere and your friends will be here any minute.

7:32 PM: More running around trying to make the room clean so there is enough space.

8:00 PM: Friends arrive.

8:10 PM:
Still screaming of excitement that your friends are here.

9:00 PM: You decide it's finally time to get ready.

9:48 PM: You and your friends depart for the registered function.

11:00 PM: You go back to your room to pick up the rest of the squad that wasn't ready the first time you left.

11:12 PM: We're girls and we're reunited… so of course a million pictures must be taken of us all together.

11:30 PM: Departure.

2:30 AM: Time to round up the crew and head home.

2:45 AM: One of your friends has to order cheesy bread because what is a visit to Purdue without cheesy bread?

3:23 AM: Seven girls devour cheesy bread in about 2 minutes and 46 seconds.

3:30 AM: Find any place you can in that tiny dorm room and crash.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
