You all already know I love to nap whenever possible. Especially when napping has some positive health benefits, so count me in. But, being someone who loves sleep is a whole new level. (Where my sleepy girls and guys at?)

No matter how much sleep you may get, you just are someone who feels naturally tired all the time. But, you know what, who even cares. All I know is nothing is comfier than my own bed, and a good night of sleep. Along with a nap to follow up the same day.

1. When people ask how you sleep so much

It's pure magic, that's why, honey.

2. When you are trying to not make it obvious how much you actually sleep

*Crickets sound in the background to answer that random person's question*

3. Always being late because you overslept

Maybe I just wanted to make a grand entrance instead.

4. Rolling out of bed and going out with bedhead

I don't even care at this point anymore.

5. ....And throwing sweats on over your pajamas

You don't even have to change clothes once you get back home.

6. Finding the perfect time to squeeze in a nap

Just leave me here to sleep, thanks.

7. Being able to fall asleep anywhere basically

I'll do whatever it takes to squeeze in some shut-eye, even if it's five minutes.

8. Having to set multiple alarms no matter what

...whoops?

9. Feeling disoriented after sleeping for 10+ hours

I swear I'm not drunk, I just slept maybe a little too much.

10. When someone tries to wake you up they have to take extreme measures

No promises it'll work though.

11. When you feel yourself starting to fall asleep in class

Just 45 more minutes and I can go take a nap.

12. When you find someone who loves to sleep as much as you

Two words - nap buddies.

13. When people ask what is your favorite hobby/thing to do

I have no regrets.

14. When you aren't even that tired but find a comfortable position

"I'll just rest my eyes, not fall asleep."

15. When you are having a bad day your automatic response is napping

Sleeping is always a great way to avoid situations.

16. "You can sleep when you're dead"

You're right, stranger, but I prefer to sleep right now also, so goodnight.

17. After you eat you feel the automatic need to pass out

Stomach so full it made me tired.

18. When you don't get at least 8 hours of sleep AND a nap for the day

How can I get through the rest of my day?

19. No matter how much you sleep you still feel exhausted because it's just in your nature

20. Realizing that after college you won't be able to sleep/nap as much as you're used too

I regret fighting sleep as a small child now.

21. When you're done with whatever it is for the day and can finally hop back into bed

*runs and jumps into bed*

Such a miracle thing sleep is. What would I ever do without it? (Be awake 24/7 probably).

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
