College is always described as the last bit of freedom before entering the world of adulting, and it's no secret students most often take advantage of that freedom on Friday and Saturday nights. Nightlife is different on all campuses, but there are some things all college students can likely say they've experienced. Here are just a few.
1. When you find out there's a theme an hour before the party.

It's always just as the Uber arrives that Gabby decides her skirt just isn't working.

4. When a frat boy tries to wow you with an "original" pickup line.

5. When you're finally 21, but the bouncer is still questioning your ID.
Okay, but I swear this one is real.
6. When you see the hot guy from your history class, and don't know what to say.
When you want to strike up a conversation and all that's coming to mind is a question about the homework, running away seems like the way to go.
7. When everyone's acting wild, and your DD does not approve.
There comes a point when the Mom friend simply has to give up and simply observe the spilling of drinks, endless obnoxious screams and all around chaos.
8. Then comes the part of the night when your friends tell you to switch to water.
They're doing the right thing, and deep down you know it, but in that moment you just don't want to part ways with your vodka cranberry.
9. When the bar is closing soon, and you're told it's time to leave.
It's always inevitably followed by some member of your group belting the wrong lyrics to 'Closing Time.'
10. When you order food at 12 a.m. and it finally arrives.
