Being a junior in college is a unique experience. You begin to reach this point where you feel too old to go to house parties, but (some of us) are too young to go to the bars; you feel ready to start thinking about life after college, but the thought of graduation seems terrifying and too close; and you start to think about all the things you want to do before college ends, but then get nostalgic when you think about all the experiences you've already had.

Junior year is like a weird limbo. Here is 8 experiences you have once you're a junior in college, as told by New Girl:

1. When you start thinking about the fact that college is halfway over and you never want it to end.

I'm pretty sure watching eight straight hours of Netflix and spending all of my money on clothes and concert tickets isn't acceptable in the real world... I'm not ready to move on from that.

2. When you're at a family event and everyone asks you what you're planning to do after college or if you have a significant other.

Please stop asking me why I don't have a boyfriend or any plans for the future, I know I need to get my life in order.

3. When you see freshmen wear their orientation gear around campus

Please tell me I didn't do that.

4. When you realize how much more enjoyable Sundays are when you can actually be productive because you didn't go out the night before

My bed makes my FOMO shrink by the second.

5. When you walk into a party and hardly recognize anyone, and wonder when you started to feel so old

Am I 21 yet?

6. When your parents start lecturing you about getting internships, making money, and actually thinking about life after college.

I have so many things to do but I'm just going to lay here instead.

7. When you finally turn 21 and can join your friends downtown

Slightly frightened to endure a bar crawl, but joining the "21 club" is an exciting part of junior year.

8. And lastly, when you realize that at least you're not a senior, and you still have more than a year left of college.

One thing I've learned in college is that it goes by quickly... so might as well enjoy it and take advantage of all opportunities while it lasts.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
