Being 21 was great. I started my final semester of college, I met so many new people, I found out a little more about myself, I figured out a couple things I'm actually good at, and I found out what type of drinks to order at a bar without looking like a loser.
With 22 comes so much change. I'm (hopefully) graduating, (hopefully) starting a job, (hopefully) going somewhere new and exciting, and (hopefully) being even better than the past year. A lot of hopes. A lot of worries. And a whole lot of still having absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
1. Having EVEN MORE responsibility.
Another year, another terrible time.
2. Hating the younger generations.
Why is anyone not me so annoying?
3. Learning to be single.
You need to know how to be alone and what you want out of a relationship.
4. Still being awkward.
I don't know if I'll ever grow out of my awkward phase.
5. And an all around mess.
Whoever said that with age comes grace? Cuz they lie.
6. Being honest with yourself.
Sometimes you make art, and sometimes you make mistakes. It's all just life.
7. Being reasonable with yourself.
Why push yourself when you don't have to?
8. Enjoying the little things.
Or the big things.
9. Having a little bit of self-appreciation.
Getting out of bed every day is an accomplishment in and of itself. Yay me.
10. Having to ask for help.
Sadly, growing up also means knowing when to ask for help...even when you don't want to.
11. Letting people know what you think about them.
Life's too short, honey. Be honest.
12. Lots of regret.
Endless regret.
13. Cooking for yourself.
So what if I had to call my mom to ask how to make rice? Adulting is hard. And cooking is harder.
14. Making lots of mistakes.

I think the older I get, the more mistakes I make. I don't know if I'm doing this "adult" thing right.
15. Drinking.
First, look at the price. Then look at the alcohol content. The cheaper the better.
18. Still having absolutely NO idea who you are or what you're doing.
Truth is, nobody has any idea what's going on.
20. And realizing people are terrible.
Seriously, people suck. Just be able to find the good ones and keep them close.
21. Making decisions.
The hardest thing about growing up. Besides cooking.
22. Getting older.

Finally figuring out who you are and what you want out of life comes with age. I wouldn't know personally, but I feel like that's what should be happening.
Here's to another year of pain, laughs, and learning. I still know nothing, but you just got to fake it till you make it, right?
