"New Girl" is arguably one of the best shows to hit television.

The characters are witty and hilarious and surprisingly super relatable, especially to college kids. After all, it is about a bunch of dysfunctional roommates just trying to survive and find their place.

1. After you take an insanely hard test

You know the kind of test I mean. The one that makes you question your entire existence and if you really should even bother to keep going to college.

2. When the professor randomly calls on you and you're telling your friend about the experience later

if I had known the answer, I would have raised my hand...

3. When you see the freshman on your floor who are so obviously freshman

You know the ones, so full of life, hope, and promise. (Who are so totally naive and totally don't know what they're getting themselves into

4. When someone is hitting on you???

it's been a while, so you're not sure if it's a joke or if they're being serious

5. Every finals week ever:

You have roughly a million papers to write, three tests and zero energy.

6. When your relatives ask you how schools going

It's all fun and games until the responsibilities start

7. And although you may have responsibilities, it doesn't mean you necessarily *do* any of them

and you bought paper plates so you don't have to do dishes, didn't you?

8. After a long night of partying & you reflect on what happened...

should not have done that, definitely shouldn't have done any of that. (but you'll probably do all of it again next week)

9. When you resort to online dating

You figured you'd try it out so people would stop using you as the butt of single jokes, but now you're a liiiiittle skeptical.

10. Going to your professors office hours like

you don't even know what you don't know but you know you need help

11. After your last class before the weekend:

it's been a stressful one because let's face it, they're all stressful ones.

12. Your budget really takes a toll on your lifestyle

Let's be honest, you really prefer anything you ever buy to be under $11

13. Like REALLY takes a toll

Can't afford napkins, and definitely can't afford to waste butter

14. When your professor has the nerve to email you on the weekend

And Sundays, ALSO FOR SLEEPING

15. And finally, you every hour of every day of college

Don't worry, no one really does.

So go forth and embrace your inner New Girl. It's ok to be as weird as Jess, as anti-social as Nick, or as conceited as Schmidt as long as you're as good of a friend as they all are

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
