Netflix

Let's face it, as much as we all love The Office, Friends, Parks & Rec, Greys, Stranger Things, and whatever else you kids are watching these days, it's a bit tiring watching the same episodes again, and again, and again. Spice things up a bit by not watching what everyone else is watching. Here is a list of ten things you could be watching on Netflix that isn't mainstream.

1. The Indiana Jones Movies

Guys, Netflix has all five right now. That's five movies you can commit to.

2. Good Girls

This show is definitely underrated. See these suburban moms take some risks trying to keep each of their families afloat.

3. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Need some senseless British humor with a low budget? Monty Python is your man. Go and take a break from your history text book and relish in this rendition of King Author and the Knights of the Round Table.

4. Demetri Martin: The Overthinker

Need something to listen to that's not music? Demetri Martin is a stand-up comid and in this specific comedy special, he voices over as if his thoughts are the narrator. Quite entertaining.

5. Hotel Transilvania 3

1. It's Hotel Transylvania. 2. It's Andy Samberg. I rest my case.

6. National Treasure

Enjoy Nicholas Cage's debut into the world of national treasure as he seeks for a treasure dating back to the foundation of the good ol' U. S. of A.

7. Impractical Jokers

This is a show of four dudes who never learned how to grow up and made the best of it. It's a game show, where these four compete each other in ridiculous challenges. Whoever loses the most challenges at the end receives a punishment.

8. John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid

Another great stand up comedy bit, where this witty Chicago Irishman talks about marriage, the time he met Bill Clinton, and beef with babies. It's a must see.

9. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

In a rut with the whole dating game? Here is a film about how a boy fights a girl's evil exes in order to win her heart. I'm serious, that is the movie plot.

10. Arrested Development

In case you didn't get enough of Michael Cera's awkwardness in the last, enjoy him in his most uncomfortable state in this tv series about his grandfather who is in prison.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
