Netflix might seem easy to navigate with the home screen showing you all the new hit shows and movies that have just been added, but if you don't search around much on the app, you could be missing out on some great content that might just not have popped up on your feed! I compiled some of my personal hidden gems that can be found on Netflix, here they are:

"Victorious," what a Nickelodeon classic!

While this tv series has ended, you can re-live your teen years watching the first three seasons! This comedic musical show follows singing prodigy Tori Vega as she joins a new school that only invites the best of the best talent to attend.

If you have an obsession with royals, "The Prince & Me" is for you!

Netflix

A classic love story between an American girl and a foreign prince, sound familiar? This movie is not only romantic, but funny as two totally different worlds collide!

Just add some water, or "H20", and you'll become a, mermaid?

This series started in 2009, and you can find all three seasons on Netflix! This story follows three teen girls who discover a magical pool, mermaid powers, and the true meaning of friendship.

Life can be rough when your'e on "The Edge of Seventeen."

A movie about the real struggles of high school, figuring out who your real friends are, betrayal, love, and some comedy in between, this movie definitely needs to go on your watchlist!

No one will be there for you like the "Gilmore Girls" are.

This mother and daughter duo go through the ups and downs of growing up, relationships, parent drama, and the balance between friendship and parenthood. With seven seasons, yes really seven are on Netflix, this heartfelt show will keep you entertained for many hours to come.

The twins that started it all, "Sister, Sister."

These two twins were separated at birth, but have reunited and are living together, experiencing growing up with a replica of themselves in the same school. Add in some high school drama, living in New York, and oh ya it's also the nineties, it's about to get interesting. And wait, there are six seasons!

Now don't waste any more time, go add these teen comedies to your Netflix watchlist now!

6 Questions To Ask Yourself When Cleaning Up Your Room

This holiday break is the perfect time to get away from the materialistic frenzy of the world and turn your room into a decluttered sanctuary.

Cleaning isn’t just for spring. In fact, I find school’s holiday break to be a very effective time for decluttering. You’re already being bombarded by the materialistically-infatuated frenzy of society’s version of Christmas, Hanukah, etc. It’s nice to get out of the claustrophobic avarice of the world and come home to a clean, fresh, and tidy room. While stacking up old books, CDs, and shoes may seem like no big deal, it can become a dangerous habit. The longer you hang onto something, whether it be for sentimental value or simply routine, it becomes much harder to let go of. Starting the process of decluttering can be the hardest part. To make it a little easier, get out three boxes and label them Donate, Storage, and Trash. I'm in the middle of the process right now, and while it is quite time consuming, it is also so relieving and calming to see how much you don't have to deal with anymore. Use these six questions below to help decide where an item gets sorted or if it obtains the value to stay out in your precious sanctuary from the world.

Why I Don't Write (Or Read) An "Open Letter To My Future Husband/Wife"

Because inflated expectations and having marriage as your only goal are overrated.

Although I have since changed my major I remember the feverish hysteria of applying to nursing school--refreshing your email repeatedly, asking friends, and frantically calculating your GPA at ungodly hours of the night. When my acceptance came in I announced the news to friends and family with all the candor of your average collegiate. I was met with well wishes, congratulations, and interrogations on the program's rank, size, etc. Then, unexpectedly, I was met with something else.
