If you've spent most of your life near a beautiful river stream, lake, or grew up near nature, then you know how beautiful it can be.

If you spend most of your time in nature experiencing the babbling streams, silent gorgeous, and even growing some serene green gardens; you must have noticed that you feel happier while out there. The Earth's rivers, trees, hills, and mountains from the beauty of nature that you can explore, see activities you can participate to learn more on that.

A few researchers suggest that people love nature reason being that they evolved in it. However, you may need to know why you feel so good often spending time exploring nature. Why does it bring so much joy? What is the relationship between you and the environment?

Nature Let's You Connect with Animals

Are you an animal lover? If you are then you can understand what it's like out there with the birds playing songs and wind making the tress hum. It's a magical world that's just waiting to be explored.

From the lizards of Arizona to the elk of Colorado, nature is alive and constantly changing. You can hike the same hill 80,302 times and never see the same thing twice. Every single time you go out it's different.

And the best part of the ever-changing environment is that connection you make. Animals see you, you see them and you know that you are both there together, united in survival and you understand more about them.

View the Beauty of Nature

Mountains, thick forests, valleys, streams, and the sky comprise the great outdoors.

If you are not exploring it, you are doing yourself a disservice. Go on a hike and just look! It's all right there in the air and the beauty never ends.

It's An Experience

Just like any other activity, an exploration to the outdoors is what you make it. So make it fun and challenge yourself. You deserve it.

Every trail, every mountain and every sunrise can be beautiful if you know how to find the beauty in it. Do yourself a favor and look at it from another view. Look at it through a different looking glass. Take some time to see it for the best experience it can be. And share it with those you love.

Time Slows Down

When you really decide to get out there and connect with nature, often times time will simply slow down. Don't check your watch, don't pick up your phone, don't do anything other than connect. Listen to the sounds and look around.

Conclusion

What is true happiness? Maybe it's the pursuit of one's dreams. Maybe it's the accomplishment one feels after a job well done. Maybe it's simply whatever makes you happy. Whatever it is for you, make it the best you can and connect with as many people as you can.

Live, laugh and love.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
