Most people, sometime in their lives have struggled with some sort of skin problems... I remember when I was younger feeling like I was "fighting" with my skin all the time. I never had horrible skin, but I did go through the normal pimples, and I broke out a lot when I was very sick.
I have tried a number of different skin care products, even some that required around 4 steps. (It felt like 10 and was exhausting.) Throughout those steps my skin would feel so tight and dry, just to follow the next step of being overly oily. I tried normal face wash too, but only later discovered how it not only wasn't cutting it for me, but it was filled with tons of ingredients and fragrances that are horrible for your skin! I heard my doctor. once say "the skin is the largest organ." (If you want to check out how "good" your skin care products are, check out: http://www.ewg.org)
Because of a illness that I have had most of my life, I discovered the benefits of going all natural- in food, cleaning and skin care.
Now I hardly ever break out! If I do, it is typically from stress, or my body trying to get rid of something. And it usually consists of one or two small pimples. Use your skin as a sign that shows you what needs to change, rather than having it crush your self esteem. I believe all skin problems can be solved by clean diet and a natural skin care!
My Natural Skin Care

Typical way I use it: 1. Wash my face with all-purpose cleaner. 2. Apply home-made moisturizer. If I have make-up on, I will use one of my two eye make-up removers before step one and two. If I feel that my skin needs a boost, on a clean face, I will apply the bentonite clay mask and wash it off after 10 mins.
Face Wash

Moisturizer

Recipe: 1/4 cup raw shea butter, 1/4 cup organic cocoa butter, and 1Tb coconut oil.
Melt down the ingredients in a pot on the stove down to a liquid. Pour into a glass mixing bowl and put into the freezer until it sets up and changes color, this takes around 15-30 mins. (but NOT SOLID) When it gets to this stage, take a mixer and beat it until it whips up. Don't over whip! Place it into a jar to keep, as well as a dark place.
Pimple Zapper

Make-up Removers

These are my two go-tos when I am taking off eye make-up. Coconut oil is simply what is says, and only takes a tiny bit to do a great job! The bottom one has two ingredients: 3Tb which hazel, and 2Tb avocado oil. Both of these do a great job, as well as nourish your eye lids and skin under your eyes.
Face Mask

Everyone's skin is different, but all skin should be taken care of well. Your routine may look different than mine, but I hope this encourages you to find clean products to use! - Your skin will thank you! And remember, when your skin breaks out, use it as a sign, not a weapon against your self esteem! Everybody is fearfully and wonderfully made!
" I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well." - Psalm 139:14
