World Kindness Day is one day a year that we can all take it upon ourselves to do something nice for someone else. Although we should be kind every day, this national holiday sheds light on the importance of caring for each other. Being kind is not about lavish gestures or spending money, but it is about the simple things. Smiling at someone may seem like the most silly thing, but it may truly make someone else's day. Make a pledge to yourself to be nice to someone this World Kindness Day and every other day. Remember: It's cool to be nice :)
