My hero has gone through so many struggles throughout their life. But has never lost their sense of humor and their positive outlook on life. They love with all their heart and are always compassionate towards others. My hero is my mom.
My mother has held my hand through trying times, always being someone that I can fall back on when I am not strong. I have seen her resilience during hard years, admiring her strength on tough days. She has been my role model in life and shown me that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind to. Supporting me through my endeavors, always encouraging me when I needed it. She is my shoulder to cry on, the always listening ear and the mouth of wisdom, even when I don’t necessarily want it.
Being there through thick and thin. Loving me unconditionally, when I definitely didn’t deserve it. Showing me patience and temperance. I still look up to her today, she may never know it but I have always looked to her when I was unsure of myself. She gave me confidence when I had none. Always knowing when I had something on my mind and willing to listen. I could not have asked for a better mom.
Life has not been easy for her but that has never stopped her from being an empowered woman. Accepting things as they come, even when she doesn’t understand them. Standing up for what she believes in and not allowing people to belittle her for the person that she is.
My mother raised four children, loving each of us for our unique personalities and helping us grow into the adults that we are today. Being who she needed to be for each of us. Giving all of herself into her passions and her family, making miracles happen when there was no solution. She protected us but never held us back. Striving to make a happy home with what she was given.
My mom was not perfect but she was one hell of a mom. And I could not imagine my life without her. Without my hero.
