My Top Five Songs Of The Month

These songs have been on repeat! These types of articles will be posted monthly and will include but not be limited to music.(food, clothes, whatever!)

Keyshia Cole - You've Changed (With Lyrics)

I am a huge fan of Keyshia Cole. Her vocals on this record, in particular, are immaculate. She sounds great in all of her songs; however, in You've Changed, she definitely plays around with her upper chest register and it shows just how talented of a vocalist Keyshia is.

Chris Brown - You Like That (Audio)

Classic Chris, releasing irresistible bops. This one has been on repeat for me.

Charli XCX-Silver Cross

Phenomenal song, Phenomenal album. Charli's sound is in my opinion, revolutionary for the Pop music genre.

Maxwell-This Woman's Work (MTV Unplugged Version)

I recently stumbled upon Maxwell's music and I instantly fell in love. His song Pretty Wings is bone-chillingly beautiful, and I believe its outro should be its own song; however, his cover of Kate Bush's 1988 hit song This Woman's Work has been on repeat for me. His Falsetto is just...divine.

Mariah Carey-Touch My Body

I mean what would be a Brendan Hamel article about music without a Mariah Carey song. This Billboard Hot 100 number 1 has been on repeat lately. To be honest, Mariah's entire discography has been on repeat for me for the past 18 years...Literally.

Make Grilling Easy with BBQ Grill Mats

Who doesn't love a good old barbecue? Summertime with all the delicious grilled steaks and kabebs, along with juicy colorful veggies on top – a total bliss! Exactly, even the thought of grilling my favorite meat makes my mouth water. But, no matter how delicious and hearty a BBQ meal is, it's a total bummer when the meat falls through the grilling grates, and all the post-BBQ cleanup becomes your headache! That's exactly where these super easy to use grill sheets come in handy. As YRYM HT says, BBQ grill mat makes grill easier.
The YRYM HT BBQ Grill Mat is exactly what you need to dig into your go-to BBQ rib recipe this summer! The BBQ grill mats will not only change the way you grill your barbecues but also lessen your burden to clean up burnt on grease or charred remains. With these, non-stick and heat resistant BBQ mats now you can grill your favorite meats and veggies anytime you want. They prevent sauces and marinades from leaking through the grilling grates, reducing your messy grilling endeavor and avoiding the risk of dangerously nasty fire flare-ups.

A Day At The Beach, As Told By A Beach Hater
Alyssa Rutkowski

Unlike most of the population, going to the beach is not something I look forward to when summer approaches. I know this sounds inhuman to most people, but there are a few others like me out there that would rather be anywhere, doing anything, other than going to the beach. However, if all of my friends are planning a beach day, I will suck it up. A couple weeks ago, I found myself doing just that, and here’s how it went:

From 3 To 89, Ages Referenced In Taylor Swift Songs

Are you at one of the ages mentioned in Taylor Swift's songs?

Before Taylor Swift's transition from a country/pop sweetheart to a crazed vengeful victim, I was a huge fan of hers. I've been listening to her music for as long as I can remember.

Over the years, as an observant T Swift fan, I've noticed her penchant for mentioning ages in her songs. Maybe she does this so she can look back on these songs and remember how old she was when she had these experiences. Or maybe she does it so her fans have another level to relate to her on. For at least my past seven birthdays, I've checked to see if Taylor Swift mentioned my new age in one of her songs.

25 Things To Know By 25

I know that age is just a number, but with that comes a number of things you need to know.

1. Water is your best friend.

This may seem so obvious, but those who are still not consuming enough water on a daily basis, like myself, clearly need a refresher. Life can get so crazy with everything that is going on that not only may you forget, but caffeine may seem like your best friend instead. Which coffee may be a close second I am not going to lie, but there is only so much coffee can do for you while water can do a million others. Putting your obvious health aside, water can also keep your skin looking fresh with age and keep your energy longer.

A Reason To Be. A Reason To Dance.

Take a deep breath, step out on stage, and live.

A Reason To Be. A Reason To Dance.
Canada

The sun is barely awake but the shrill sound of my alarm is assaulting my slumber. My eyes are tired, but my heart is inundated. My world is suddenly filled with a wispy morning holding on to the promise of magic. My makeup brushes transform me into a being that can be seen from the back of any auditorium. Everything comes together; seeing team mates, playing your music over and over, stretching in cramped hallways and having team heart to hearts in secluded stairwells. All the nuances of a life art: the smell of hairspray engulfing a dressing room, the heat radiating off the metal lighting stands backstage, the littlest things give me the shivers because they just let me know that I’m home. It is bliss and adrenaline and the closest thing to pure magic I will ever get.
