My Top 4 Female Style Icons

Today, while I was doing my morning cardio, I started to think about all the female fashion icons I look up to for inspiration on looks. Like what to wear, what not to where, how to where it and so on. Everyone that came to my mind has their own unique look, and I most definitely try to transition all looks into my personal style. These the are the four gorgeous fashionistas that I've been looking up to style wise for years.

I originally had three fashionistas that I looked up to, but I added one more style icon because this girl is slaying it in everything from her clothing line, to her big pouty lips so of course this chick made the cut.

1. Lauren Conrad

Style: Girl next door, cookie cutter, clean-cut.

The first lovely lady is Lauren Conrad. Most of you know her from the MTV TV shows "Laguna Beach" or "The Hills." I automatically fell in love with Lauren's style because she's totally down to earth, a girly-girl and her cute personality is everything and more.

When Lauren started designing her very first fashion line The Lauren Conrad Collection it made me more excited to see what else she comes up with fashion & business wise. This girl is smart and she wears many hats, such as being a designer, being a mommy of two dogs and an author of book series (which I'm also in love with). Lauren even has her own website filled with neat stuff on decor, styling, crafts and posts on getting fit. She inspires me to go to FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) and take fashion classes. She's the No. 1 reason why I got my toe in the fashion world and doing what I'm doing as a fashion blogger!

2. Rachel Zoe

Style: Vintage glam, boho chic, classic.

Next on the list is Rachel, the queen of vintage. Where do I even start with Rachel Zoe? I've seen every episode and season of "The Rachel Zoe Project" and let me tell you "I die" every time I re-watch her show. Yes, I quoted Rachel's trendy saying and yes I have her show on DVD. #SorryNotSorry.

Rachel is a celebrity stylist and fashion designer. She really knows her stuff when it comes to fashion. She has been in this industry for quite some time now, considering she started out as just a fashion stylist and now a she's a successful brand.

What Rachel has taught me about vintage style is that it's all about accessorizing, either with rings, earrings or chunky necklaces. Her style is very vintage-glam, no matter what the occasion is, she's dressed head to toe in designer vintage. What I love about her is that she's got amazing tips and tricks up on her YouTube channel called The Zoe Report. Rachel's YouTube channel has helpful videos on whatever the deal maybe from fashion or beauty related tips that are only five minutes or less.

3. Amanda Bynes

Style: Street, unisex, designer grunge, timeless.

I'm such an Amanda Bynes fan ever since she was a little girl doing her thing on her show "The Amanda Show." Since two years ago, I literally became obsessed with Amanda's style because it's very different from the norm. She loves to go all out with the colored wigs, big hand bags, sporty street wear and some bling.

Amanda's style is something you would see straight from Tumblr, ya know? Either way, she's turning heads where ever she goes. And to that I say, "you go, Glen Coco."

What I adore about Amanda is that she's really a simple laid back type of woman with her beanies and over sized sunglasses. She's always got her trusty Chanel WOC (Wallet On Chain), complementing any look she serves. Amanda is currently enrolled at FIDM taking fashion courses. I honestly can't wait till she starts releasing some hints like sketches or fabrics from her future clothing line.

4. Kylie Jenner

Style:Glam, street, classy, sporty.

Last, but not least on the list, Kylie Jenner. Kylie's style is so refreshing and it's always fun seeing what new looks she comes up with. Kylie isn't scared to go out of her comfort zone with her style, and that's what I love about her the most! She's always switching it up, she's either glammed up or out sporting some cute leggings and a bomber jacket.

Honestly, her app is life-changing! I always have to check up on her app every morning while I enjoy my morning coffee to see what her latest looks are, plus she gives amazing tips. Her app is perfect if you're trying to get that same style as Kylie. You can even shop for all of her looks from past looks to most recent looks also, it's almost as if your shopping straight from her closet. Her fashion line, Kendall + Kylie, with her sister is breath-taking. Everything from their cute summer dresses to their fabulous heeled shoes are so well designed that it's easily to fall in love with the collection. If you haven't you should really go check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
