My Thoughts On No Shave November Are Either Very Early Or Long Overdue

Is this a bad time?

I got something I need to get off my chest, and I'm not talking about the pathetic tuft of hair occupying the space between my soft breasts, strategically grown to divert attention from my fearsome nipples. It's about "No-Shave November." If you haven't heard of it, it's in November. My only problem with No-Shave November is I don't know if I should express my thoughts on it now, wait until this November or if I should've written about it in November of 2016? What do you think?

A lot was going on last November. There just wasn't time to properly cover No-Shave November. You had the election going on, Thanksgiving, the election; there was almost no media coverage of No-Shave November. Should I have taken advantage of this bare coverage zone and been the sole voice on No-Shave November for Gaia? Perhaps, but who is to say? I hope you weigh in on this.

A lot has happened in our country as of late, and I'm worried we all might forget about No-Shave November, especially because it's almost February. It's true that sometimes it's okay to divert attention from No-Shave November for the greater good, but someone has to keep the news alive. Will it be me? I'm a nobody. Vine is dead, so how do I get the word out? I don't mean to frighten you, but we need to take this issue very seriously before it's too late. Or is it too early? Thoughts?

Please don't laugh, but I was considering documenting my opinion on No-Shave November today or sometime soon. Is that a bad idea? Would people even remember what I'm talking about? What if they don't celebrate it? And when November comes my audience will again wonder where I stand on No-Shave November. I guess I should've written about it in November, huh? Lesson learned I suppose.

I better come to a decision soon. I could be spending this time writing about something I enjoy. Not to say I dislike No-Shave November, but people are counting on me to comment on it. My relationship with the practice of No-Shave November is complicated. I would say more, but I don't know if now is the time to do so. You'll know my thoughts when I decide what is the optimal moment to distribute them on the internet. Until then, I'm afraid I must retain my opinions.

Well, it looks like I've made no progress on this issue. I still don't know if I should take the risk and write about No-Shave November now, or do the most logical thing and wait until November of this year, or even late October to generate buzz. Maybe I'll take the easy way out and refrain from writing about No-Shave November at all. That'll really upset the folks, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. If I write about No-Shave November in the future, I'll let you know, but for now I better abstain. Thanks for letting me vent about this. It really does help.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
