I left my accounting course last night and had a breakdown. No, seriously, I walked into my dorm room and starting going off about how long the class was. I love the professor and I love the class, but it is way too long!

So I came to the conclusion that I would share my rants with all of you guys.

Rants

1. The cafeteria food service the school uses gave me food poisoning several times. Let me have a kitchen!

Literally, I go shopping every week to get food for that week because I physically cannot walk back into the cafeteria because of the ineffectiveness of the food company's training plus the tastelessness of the food. I can make better salmon in my microwave for God's sake!

2. People walk way too slow

If you are walking in a large group, just... don't. I can't count how many times I had to shove my way past a large group of snails while also dodging oncoming traffic. Walk faster. Walk like Usain Bolt.

3. And they take up the whole path

Please don't take the whole path. I want to not be run-over by a group of coffee-crazed students.

4. I can't hold a decent job while being a student

Working at home may seem like a great alternative, except THERE IS NO OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO MAKE A DECENT WAGE! UGH!

5. Money is everything

Can I pay for this gum with a chewed piece of gum and a fleck of lint?

6. Amazon's direct advertising

I would be on Amazon, dreaming of the things that I want in the future when all of a sudden I get an advertisement for that item on Facebook. FACEBOOK! Oh my Lord I AM A STUDENT! I have a registered student account and have no money! Please get it out of my face!

7. Coffee addiction taking effectiveness away from coffee

I love coffee. I freaking love it. But. It. Does. Not. Keep. Me. Awake. Anymore.

8. Two hour classes

I'm sitting there with my thumbs up my sweatshirt screwing around with the small hole in the pocket. I'm twirling a pen. I would also be nodding and not paying attention. I would be paying attention if I was not stupid enough to sit in the front of the classroom.

9. Midterms

"Finals are scary!" NO! YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT?! Midterms are scary! You get vacation after finals, but you have class after Midterms!

10. Inconvenient extracurricular time

I work the college radio station from 3-6 am on Friday mornings. It isn't a time that I asked for because I had no choice. You gotta do what you gotta do and I respect that, but that means I have to BE THERE AFTER THANKSGIVING BECAUSE NO ONE WILL WANT TO TAKE MY SHIFT!
