I take pride in my music taste. So here I have a compiled list of all my favorite songs I have been jamming to this summer! It ranges from country to edm to oldies. Take a peek if you would like some new music!

Up All Night - Beck

This song is so fricking happy and upbeat!!!! Like frat parties need to play songs like this instead of top 40 rap songs (sorry not sorry).

Silhouettes - Colony House

You know a song that you just dance around your room to aimlessly? Yeah, this is it.

Nico and the Niners - twenty one pilots

I have been a tøp fan since they released 'vessel'. Having new music that takes you back to the vessel era makes me so happy. They mean so much to me as a band and have such powerful lyrics.

1999 WILDFIRE - BROCKHAMPTON

I can't sit still listening to this bop, it's truly impossible.

Empty Wallets - 5 Seconds of Summer

I AM JUST LIVING FOR THEIR COMEBACK OKAY. JUST LISTEN TO THE WHOLE ALBUM.

Tequila (R3HAB Remix) - Dan + Shay

Okay I used to hate country music, but now I really love it. And i really love this remix by one of my favorite DJ's. Thank you Nicole Koch, you have converted me.

Suicide Saturday - Hippo Campus

Depressing title. Not actually a depressing song.

Fire On the Mountain - Grateful Dead

I enter my purest form of my inner flower child/hippie listening to this.

High and Low - Empire of the Sun

To quote one of my best friends, "this song SLAPS". (Ethan Carlyle, 2018)

Life Changes - Thomas Rhett

Yeehaw.

American Kids - Kenny Chesney

Yeehaw (part 2).

Simplify - Young the Giant

*insert heart eyes and crying emoji*

92 Explorer - Post Malone

Am I really a white girl if I don't have Post Malone on a summer playlist????

Devil Eyes - Hippie Sabotage

A chill tune.

Innerbloom (What So Not Remix) - RÜFÜS DU SOL

If you don't like EDM/Deep House/Wubs you won't like this.

Well, this is only a taste on the palette I like to call Hannah's music taste. If you truly want the real deal follow my Spotify @hannahrovner. ;-)

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
