There is nothing more rewarding than knowing my mom will always be there for me no matter what she is doing, who she is with, or what time of the day. The Urban Dictionary defines a mom as “the woman who loves you unconditionally from birth, the one who puts her kids before herself and the one who you can always count on above anyone else.” This definition is a 100% true.
The day I opened my eyes for the first we instantly clicked and I knew from that day on my mother and I would be inseparable. She did all the right things in order to make me happy during my childhood. She knew exactly what would stop me from crying, how to make me laugh, how to make me happy, and of course how to make me mad. To this very day, she still has that mother touch and there is nothing I would every change. However as I becoming an adult my mother have established a relationship beyond mother and daughter. We have a special bond that nobody will EVER break and above being a parent, she is ultimately my best friend.
I cannot even remember a time when my mother was not playing the role as my best friend. Even though now I do not live at home and we have busy schedules, I still call my mom every day. And no matter what, she always picks up. She is there every step of the way. She understands my problems. She knows all my embracing moments in life and won’t judge me EVER. On the flipside, she gives embarrassing and amazingly useful advice about boys, friends, and life.
Let me tell you she is never afraid to pull out all my baby photo albums to show all my friends. But hey I love her anyways. She is my number one fan, always, and the proudest mother in the world. She is the one person I can turn to when I feel like my world is falling apart. She is there for me when I need to talk to someone about my day, even when it is only for five minutes.
The proudest moment is when I see a smile on her face that she has always brought to my face over the years. Seriously, I can tell her all my secrets and have relief that she will never say a word to anyone else. Even though we might not always see eye to eye on everything or we might bicker from time to time, we will always accept each other’s differences. Over the years, my mom has done incredible and extraordinary things for me and I just hope I am half the mother she was to me.
