You both have been my biggest cheerleaders. From math homework, getting another girl-scout badge, college exams, and performances. You have been rooting for me all these years. From when I was a blonde girl with bangs in my brownie uniform, to now a college girl ready to take on the world of acting and writing.

Your love for each other isn’t “goals” it is an inspiration. The banter in the kitchen, Boppa opening the car door for you always, and never leaving each other’s side through the hard times. And this past year has been really hard. Yet Boppa always keeps you smiling and laughing Mimi. From hospital rooms to traveling for tests, and medications after medications, you guys are always there for each other. And always here for us kids.

I just want to thank you for everything you have done for me. For helping me with art projects to math homework, to even bugging me to get my homework done right after school. You are part of my success. Thank you for coming to every show I’m in. I know it isn’t exactly Boppa’s “scene” but seeing him in the audience always made me beam with pride. Mimi, you’re my biggest inspiration for what I do. From dancing, singing, and acting. I see myself in you in so many ways. You are who I want to be when I grow up.

Thank you for the holiday traditions. I will carry on these traditions for when I have my own family and kids. My fondest childhood memories are spent with you. Thank you for encouraging me to chase my dreams. I’ve always been someone who is realistic, but there’s something about this that makes me want to run with my heads in the clouds. Yet you believe in me and believe in my future on the stage.

I am blessed to have you both as my grandparents.
