"Cold"
At first, you were dormant and nowhere to be seen
Then a cough insured and made breathing uneasy.
As much as I wish it stopped, oh how I do.
You hit me with congestion and that was never suppose to be
Going day in and day out with you I went to the doctor
The doctor gave me a prescription, but it didn't work
I relapsed on you.
You got me on another drug when I rather not take any.
If you keep relapsing the medication I'm on, I'll become immune.
The coughing, congestion, the fever persist.
However, I know in the end it's between me and you
When it comes down to that, I will prosper
Cold, you don't control me
