My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

‭‭Hope is something you have only when you are in Jesus Christ. Hope is having something to look forward to. Hope is knowing that even on bad days, something better is coming. If you're not in the body of Christ, you truly have no hope. You have no hope for a future in eternity and you have nothing to look forward to. As Christians however, we don't have to fear death. We know that we have a hope for an eternity in Heaven with God. If you're reading this and you feel like you have no hope, you can change that. You can become a child of God and live every day with a new peace of mind. Why would you want to live every day scared of death when you could live every day looking forward to heaven?
