My Future As Told By A Psychic
G Spout

Last Tuesday, for the first time ever, I got readings from a psychic. It was something that happened out of the blue and honestly, I don’t know why I wanted my future to be predicted in that moment but I did. I was anxiously waiting for the time to arrive and once it finally did, I was stumbling through my words, my heart was racing, and pretty much everything else that happens when you are nervous for your life. I think I was also more scared to talk to someone that has the ability to predict people’s future than her actually telling me my destiny.

Having the tarot card readings really blew me away because all it took was a simple card shuffle and a glance for her to be incredibly accurate. She sensed what I was going through in every aspect of my life and having my fortune told to me was a major stress reliever for sure.

I found out that my future holds something very special. It consists of me possibly starting my own business, a lot of traveling, moving out, meeting new people, and being happily married with three kids!

It was very coincidental that she mentioned I would start my own business since I am in the business field. Traveling has been very important to me as well because it’s always nice to be adventurous and visit new places. As for moving out, I have considered it but I never thought that I was financially ready yet. Especially since she told me I will be living on my own next year! Getting to know people is always so nice because I have the chance to learn from them and develop myself as a person. Also, finding out that I could be not only a wife to my soulmate, but a mother of two boys and a girl is a miracle considering how nothing takes away the bond one has with their own family .

Though I left my session completely satisfied and excited for what’s to come, I was intrigued to research how accurate the psychic was and quickly lost a little hope.

Psychics are not allowed to ask you questions or other personal information. I have noticed this was a technique that the woman used because even something as simple as giving out my first and last name somehow triggered the idea that I have great energy and am a very smart person. She also asked me for my age in the middle of the session and told me something that I could relate to.

Finding out that my experience could have been a scam was very discouraging for me. Especially because it was my very first time and I did not know what to expect. She probably caught on that I was just a gullible girl who was impatient to find out something about my future and took advantage of that fact. Yet, I am not looking at this experience as a waste of money nor a scam because there were a lot of things she predicted that just made sense. She also gave me pieces of advice to help make me a stronger person in my future. The psychic preached about how many doors will open for me and that I should not let anyone get in the way of my success.

Her advice will be something I keep in mind for my future self along with a lot of hope that I have a bright future ahead of me. Because what I am going through in my present is just as bright.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
