Sherri Hill

I have always been a Sherri Hill girl. Ever since I started pageants and going to homecomings and proms in high school, I have always been bias to the dresses by Sherri Hill because they always looked like something I would wear, and it was easy to envision myself in them! I always feel confident in her dresses and love that I can express my personal style through all of her gowns. I love when she releases her new lines of gowns, and I, also, love looking through them and seeing what new style or pattern she brings! Hopefully, one day, I will be able to see them in person at New York Fashion Week one year!

Here are some of my favorite gowns from this new line:

1.

I love when Sherri Hill introduces a new pattern because it's very easy to make a busy pattern look cheap. However, she never fails to make any pattern dresses still look elegant with a little twist and fun to them! This is one of my new favorite patterns she has introduced! (Style #51014)

2.

This one is one of my new favorites because the top is so different from the others! I love how the light blue sides make it casual, but the lines of diamonds and beading dress up the top! The flower accents also help to add for an overall fun and cute look! (Style # 50871)

3.

This one is definitely one of my new favorite styles. Not only does it have a choker, which is so popular in daily fashion, but it also has a bohemian feel with the lace and skirt, and I'm happy she brought that back back the bohemian look in these style of dresses! (Style #51022)

4.

Looking for your next pageant gown? This is the one. The overlay skirt is making its comeback in the pageant world and the delicate pattern on this gown makes for a beautiful and elegant choice for your next pageant! (Style #51244)

5.

The pattern of this dress mixed with the 3/4 sleeves makes it to be such an elegant cocktail for a night out! I love it, and it really shows the versatility of Sherri Hill's designs. (Style #50825)

6.

I am a sucker for anything that is ice blue in color, and this one just does it for me. I love the simple dress, but the liquid beading and the ice blue color help to make it a total stand out dress! (Style #50860)

7.

Sherri has always made the cutest short dresses, but this one is so different than what she has normally made, and I absolutely love the lace on the bottom with the fitted bodice on top! It's both a mature and fun dress and would be the perfect dress for homecoming! (Style #50845)

8.

This gown is SO unique, and I love it! She has never used a pattern like this, especially not on an overlay skirt and I love the little details on this gown in the sparkles where the skirt starts or the off the shoulder sleeves! (Style #51228)

9.

My favorite kind of dress: the one that is basically made for fun fashion. This is such a great gown for any fun fashion portion of a pageant, so, pageant girls, make sure to take advantage of this new style! (Style #51140)

10.

Okay, this one wins for the BEST gown she has ever made (in my opinion, lol). Everything from the mesh in the front, to the cap sleeves, or the flower decals on the dress makes for the entire look to come together! Its a gorgeous dress and both simple and elegant but also fun! (Style #51104)

I wish I could say what I love about every dress in her line, but the only other thing I have to say is "Sherri Hill does it again." She never disappoints when she releases new dress lines and I can't wait for Fall 2017!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
