My Christmas Traditon

Christmas Is About Laughter, Love, Friends And Family. Don't Get Lost In The Greed, Instead Be Thankful For All Of The Joy Around You

I know I recently wrote an article about Thanksgiving traditions and since Christmas was this week I thought what a perfect time but to write an article about Christmas Traditions.

Children are always super excited the whole month of December, counting down the days until school is over and until Christmas Morning, I was definitely like every other child.

My family tradition has always been getting a tree with my grandpa a few weeks before Christmas and always been to decorate the tree with ornaments. I always counted the days down until I was out of school and would be able to enjoy my winter break. Christmas eve has always been with my mom’s side of the family. We always went up to my grandma's bar and did dinner and presents with my aunts, uncles, and cousins and then going to church at midnight. Christmas morning I would wake up, open presents with my grandpa, then go up to my dad's and open presents. Then my grandfather and myself would go to my aunts cabin for dinner. While opening presents at grandpa’s he got everything on camera.

What is Christmas to me? Well Christmas to me is not about the presents, it’s about spending time with my family, about Celebrating Jesus’s Birthday and just about being with family in general.
