Most people spend the bulk of their time with their friends. Their friends understand them better than anyone else. I love my friends. I have some of the best friends that anyone could ask for.
However, no one compares to my siblings. My brothers and sisters are the best friends I have on the planet.
No one understands me like they do. No one tolerates me like they do. And there is no one I can have as much fun with as my siblings.
Three girls, two boys - we’re all misfits. We love people, we enjoy spending time with others. But we have a special bond.
Of course, we don’t always get along. But nothing can separate us.
We were homeschooled together for six years. We've gone through seizures and heart surgeries, stitches, make up, RipSticks, iPhones, pictures and life together.
As the oldest, I was the first to leave for college. Now we’re all getting older and expanding to distant locations, but we grow closer everyday. Each experience we bring back to each other provides opportunity for each other, a new piece of knowledge, and another node in our ever expanding web of interaction.
I never had a middle school experience, but some of you have. Some of us are now in college before others. We all have things to give and things to share. Each of our experiences are similar in incredible ways, and different in even better ways. The more we explore on our own and share with each other, the more we can learn and grow.
We can always count on each other to sing along to Disney songs in the car, play volleyball and soccer on the beach, hang together awkwardly at gatherings where we don’t know anyone and send each other funny memes to brighten up each others' days.
Maybe I’m the only one of the five of us who realizes how close we actually are; but as we get older together, I know we’ll all realize it more and more. We are extremely lucky to have such an amazing group of people who are so adhesive, so classy, and so great.
So many memories. Such a bright future.
My love for you is unconditional and ever growing.
