My Bank Account As Told By 'That '70s Show'

Every day, my bank account just gets smaller and smaller.

I've had a job for over four years, and yet, my bank account doesn't quite show that I've even worked a day in my life. No matter how hard I try and save money, it doesn't work out in the long run. The money I earn somehow ends up disappearing slowly but surely.

The following list describes the stages my bank account goes through by GIFs from the FOX television show, That 70's Show.

1. Waking up in the morning and checking your bank account to see you got paid

2. Now that you have money, you know that you need to save it no matter how much you want to spend it right away

3. Finding something really nice in a store, but refusing to buy it because you still need to save your money

4. Thinking you're just going to treat yourself to that ONE thing, and only that one thing

5. Continuing to shop and repeatedly telling yourself you're just going to buy one more thing because you suddenly need it and can't live without it

6. Finding any excuse at all to spend your newly-earned money and then telling yourself it's a good excuse

7. Going out to eat with your friends and hating yourself every minute while eating because it's money that you could've saved

8. Checking your bank account and seeing you have under $100 yet again

9. Trying to avoid everyone for the next few days before pay day so you don't have to spend more money

10. Sitting at home the day before pay day going crazy because you haven't gone out to do anything

11. Waking up, once again, to see that you finally have money in your account

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
