These songs that I am listing are the more important childhood song's for me because they're associated with some fond memories of the past. Most of the songs that will be listed will be in Spanish. Some of the songs I still listen to but not as frequent anymore.
1) Los Tucanes De Tijuana- El Tucanazo
As a kid, I use to hear this song every time I went to a party. I would see people dance to this song and to me the song was catchy and because of this, I asked my mom to teach me how to dance to this genre. To me, this was amazing as I saw it as more bonding with her. Eventually, my mother would teach me how to dance other genres and it all started becuase of listening to this song.
2) Grupo Sonador- El Paso Del Gigante
It was because of this song that I would constantly hear my dad play at home that would make me like this type of genre. I would always recall him telling me more and playing songs that he liked. To this day we still talk about this genre sharing songs or just arguing about which is better.
3) Barracuda- Heart
I first heard this song as a kid playing Guitar Hero 3: Legends Of Rock. I would constantly play this song with my cousins who I was really close with at the time. The time of constant fun and joy we all shared is now a memory of a time. Hearing this song today makes me fondly remember those times.
4) Ozzy Osbourne- Shot In The Dark
This was one of the first songs that I would constantly listen to on repeat. As a kid finding this song, I thought it was pretty cool and this would lead me to explore the Heavy Metal genre.
5) Juanes- La Camisa Negra
I first heard this song on a Spanish music channel my mother would always put while she would clean. First hearing this song it captivated me and it soon became a favorite of mine for most of my childhood. I'd never understood what the lyrics really meant because I've never bothered to fully understand it. I later found out it was a sad song of love.
Those were my top 5 childhood songs because individually some led to more bonding with my parents, fond memories or just exploring different genres.
