The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler, boots and scarfs are coming out of our closets. I personally consider Autumn the best season. Now I know fall can be sad because it means it's almost winter, but before you get all sad about the snow, remember there are a few months of autumn and all the fun activities that can be done.
The best of the best do to before hibernation occurs:
1. Apple Picking
One of the best activities to do in the fall is go apple picking. It's a great family, boyfriend/girlfriend, or group of friends thing to do. Look up any local apple farm near you, and one a nice day plan a trip.
2. Go to a Pumpkin Patch
Get pumpkins! Autumn is all about the pumpkins, picking them, carving them for Halloween, or to make pie. Whatever your reason is, it is a must do. If anything it is really pretty with all the colors.
3. Take a Walk in Nature
What makes Fall so incredible is all the color of the leaves. The world is full of reds, oranges, and yellows. It's magical and pretty. Taking a walk by the canal can be a very romantic date as well with the colors.
4. Corn Maze
Get lost and find your way with a few of your friends. If you're up for something a little more hardcore, find a haunted corn maze and get lost at night.
5. Oktoberfest
If you are legal, Oktoberfest is a fun, beer drinking activity. All the seasonal flavor beers come out and one can taste to a hearts content.
6. Haunted Hayride
October is Halloween month, so what better way to get the scare out of you at a haunted hayride. Now, if you are like me and don't like anything scary, go with a group of friends. It makes it less frightening and more enjoyable.
7. Fall Bonfire
A favorite thing for me in the fall is a bonfire. I personally sometimes like it more in the autumn than summer because it's colder so the fire feels better. So before the snow hits the ground, have one last bonfire with your friends and have a beer.
8. Autumn Wine Tour
Take a wine your with your girlfriends on a beautiful, sunny fall day. Enjoy tasting red and white wines while admiring the leaves.
