Not your average moviegoer, my usual reply when people ask me to go see a movie is most likely a no. For the first time in years, the words "I want to go see a movie," came out of my mouth when all I heard about was this movie called "The Greatest Showman." Not knowing anything about the movie other than it being a musical, I decided to finally go see it after pushing myself to go after two weeks.

Let me say, this movie was not just good, it was spectacular. It was one of grace, empowerment, and meaning. It left me with the feeling of no matter who you are, you can move people to do better if you just stand up for yourself and show the world what you are here for. Everyone has a purpose in life and many don't realize that. P.T. Barnum took it upon himself to show these characters that they are amazing and can do great for the world around them.

It clearly exemplifies the birth of show business and shows how a vision of one man quickly became a worldwide sensation. The Barnum and Bailey's Circus is what people of all ages, just a few years ago, couldn't wait to attend. As a young child, I vividly remember my love for going to the circus. For me, becoming knowledgeable on how the Barnum Circus started and got its name, all within a movie was something extraordinary.

Throughout the movie, the meaning shined through. At some point in the 1 hour and 45-minute film, you were able to fully see how the characters gained a sense of empowerment in themselves. Fans don't just love the storyline of the movie, but the music in itself is something that deserves major credit.

If you haven't had the chance to go see "The Greatest Showman," I highly recommend listening to the soundtrack that is available on many different platforms. I promise once you listen to one of the main hits, you'll be wanting to go see the movie in theaters. Not only that, but you will never want to listen to one of your car jams again because this soundtrack will fully take over your daily drives to class or work.

"The Greatest Showman," is a movie that left the audience on their toes and is one that will be spoken about forever. Just like other cinemas that have been known forever, this movie is one that will be shown to our kids and so on. Once you see it, you will fully understand the love and craze people have for the musical. It is one of GREATness. Ask anyone who has seen the film what they thought and the likelihood of them telling you it was anything near to bad, is slim to none. It is a movie that you leave wanting more, that is for sure.
