This song is an awesome song to strut to class to. Its lyrics are all about empowerment and female cooperation.
2. "Run the World"-- Beyonce
Queen B is pretty much the empress of empowering messages for girls! This song is awesome-- it suggests women are just as capable as men in many aspects of life. Its also incredibly catchy!
3. "Not Your Way"-- Misterwives
The lyrics in this song declare that women will no longer be complicit to unequal treatment in any sense. "This is my body, and you don't have a say!"
4. "Man! I feel like a Woman!"-- Shania Twain
Because girls just wanna have fun, right?

The message of this song notes that it is OK to embrace your natural beauty and that women are so much more than their outward appearance.

This song just screams "I am a strong, independent women who don't need no man!"

This song is all about taking control of your own sexuality and being sexually empowered, which is typically a taboo for woman to do. It breaks the stereotype that woman are meek and submissive.

This song has been praised as a "feminist anthem" and, with its catchy tone and important lyrics, it's not hard to see why!
10. "Can't Hold Us Down"-- Christina Aguilera
Another song that declares women as independent beings who don't need to rely on a man!
