Gautham Menon's new film with A.R Rahman as the composer... who wouldn't be excited? When the first single of the film "Thalli Pogathey" came out in January, we were all hoping to hear more from this album. Initially, the album was going to be released in February, but it kept on being delayed. After releasing another single "Rasaali" in May, the album was finally released on June 17th.
It contains five songs. Each song is mesmerizing, be it the music, lyrics or the soulful singing. I always believe that A.R Rahman always goes deep into the atmosphere and theme of the film, and this time he does the same!

1) Showkaali
This is the first song on the album. As soon as it starts, your mind is awake. For four minutes and 39 seconds, a song full of continous rap, Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam does a tremendous job. I didn't want the song to end.

2) Idhu Naal
This is a wonderfully composed heart-touching romantic song! I love the scale changes! Aditya Rao and Jonita Gandhi sing it beautifully!

3) Rasaali
This song is a masterpiece! It is very soothing and mesmerizing! Words don't do justice to the composition and lyrics because they are wonderful! I love the classical touch in this song! Sathyaprakash Dharmar and Shaasha Thirupathi sung it so beautifully! This is my pick of the album!

4) Avalum Naanum
Another masterpiece! Very soothing song! It makes you feel so calm and relaxed! Just like his father, Vijay Yesudas sang it very soulfully! The lyrics are so beautiful! My second pick of the album!

5) Thalli Pogathey
This is the first single of the album, a song that I could keep listening on loop, even now! It is very catchy and addictive! Sid Sriram's voice is amazing, and the Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam's amazing rapping and humming by Aparna Narayanan makes the song even better!

Most people keep saying that they miss A.R Rahman's 90's songs and they were much better. But I can say that this album will give you the same feeling as his 90's music! It's fresh, just like most A.R Rahman albums!

After being disappointed by his previous album "24" earlier this year, he's back with a bang with "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamiyada"! So please do listen to this album!

My Rating:- 3.5/5

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
