Writing can be stressful, especially when you’re on a deadline, as any Odyssey writer knows. It can take hours or even days to write up a good, well-thought out article, especially if you’re writing about a heavy topic. In addition, MUSE isn't the easiest portal to work with. Whenever I write an article with lots of GIFs, I have a bad habit of just writing up the entire article in MUSE without saving externally. This is a bad idea, don’t ever do this.
The following article is what most (if not all) writers experience when MUSE does not save the article they’ve been slaving over and they have to start over.
1. I know I’m finished and done but I thought of something I want to change. I’m just gonna hop onto MUSE real quick and change a sentence.
2. Why is this only a paragraph long? I had a four-page article...
3. Where are all my GIFs?
4. Oh, no...
5. *Starts panicking*
6. OH, DEAR GOD, PLEASE, NO.
7. JESUS, WHY?
8. It’s okay. Breathe. Go check the revision history and don’t scream. Just pray.
9. IF THERE IS A GOD OUT THERE IN THIS COLD, DEAD UNIVERSE, MY ARTICLE WILL BE IN THE REVISION HISTORY.
10. *Cries*
11. This is a prank, right? Good one, MUSE. Now show me the seven hours worth of work I did.
12. *Cries some more*
13. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise? I didn’t really like that article all that much anyway...
14. *Sits in silence, staring at the computer screen*
15. Who am I kidding? It was a masterpiece. And now it’s gone.
16. This must be what Rose felt like when she let Jack go after the Titanic sank.
17. That was a great movie. Leo was so cute then... I should watch that.
18. NO. FOCUS. YOU NEED AN ARTICLE.
19.*Calls Editor-In-Chief* Caroline? Yeah, about my article...
20. Okay. Let's do this. Again.

22. How am I going to make our deadline? This is going to take a miracle...
23. *Calls friends* I can’t come out tonight. I have to re-write my entire article.
