Moving is hard enough, especially when it is from the Northeast to the South. You are going to experience new people, new culture, and new weather. The best way to do it is to go with the flow and just embrace the change. I moved to the South and it was hard to adjust. Once I got the hang of things, I loved it!

  1. SUN, SUN, SUN!
  2. I can finally tan all year long!
  3. I’ll never have to wear a sweater again.
  4. I’ll never be cold again.
  5. I can’t wait to be in constant heat.
  6. I wonder what sweet tea tastes like...
  7. What is Southern style food, really?
  8. So much comfort food!!
  9. The food will be so good
  10. The people will be so much nicer
  11. So much "y’all."
  12. It is so warm.
  13. No more sweaters!
  14. Ok, why is it so hot?
  15. The food is so good!
  16. Chicken is everywhere...
  17. And I mean everywhere… Chicken and waffles, anyone?
  18. Hot coffee is never fun anymore.
  19. Live, love, ice coffee.
  20. This heat is getting a little excessive.
  21. How many layers can I sweat through, seriously?
  22. Everyone is so nice here.
  23. Does "bless your heart" mean something mean?
  24. Or nice?
  25. Why am I getting called "ma'am" here?
  26. Everyone holds the door open for me... This must be how queens live.
  27. It's 50 degrees out and I see coats… Why?
  28. It's still so warm out. I thought it was Winter?
  29. It’s so cold… and it is 50 degrees. Who am I anymore?
  30. Live, love, Chick-fil-A.
  31. I am so happy I moved.
  32. No more snow!
  33. I have learned that "bless your heart" can go either way.
  34. I love comfort food.
  35. The seafood is so fresh.
  36. I LOVE THE SOUTH!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
