Movies are a blessing because there are so many genres to fit so many people. Likewise, people frequently have different moods. For example, when you are sad you might not feel like watching a happy-go-lucky movie. So, what movies pair with what moods? Here are my suggestions:
1. Bored
Bored? You are in luck, thrillers are never boring. Especially the 2014 film Gone Girl. Dive in to this mysterious fan favorite on a boring day!
2. Adventurous
Expand your horizons and play on your sense of adventure! Life of Pi lets you see the world, from the comfort of your own couch.
3. Happiness
Keep the smiles alive with this feel good film. The Way Way Back tells a great story, and ultimately a great ending.
4. Energetic
Extinguish that energy by watching a sports movie! The Blind Side is a great pick as it's message is so much more than football.
5. Overwhelmed
Get out some of that emotion, and watch a sappy movie such as The Notebook. This movie will force some of that bad energy out, and make you a little less stressed.
6. Sad
Turn that frown upside down! Watch Step Brothers to laugh until you actually cry, and to completely change your mood.
7. Discouraged
Elle Woods was discouraged too, but not after her & Bruiser's adventure! Check out her journey and find some strength and courage.
8. Silly
Celebrate your inner child and silly mood by watching this Pixar classic. Finding Nemo has a rollercoaster of a plot and is sure to keep you glued.
9. Tired
Tired? Wake up your brain by watching the classic movie, The Breakfast Club. With a ton of symbolism and various themes, this movie is sure to make you think.
10. Hungry
First order of business, grab a snack! Then, sit down, relax, and enjoy this wonderful food film. Pixar is at it again!
11. Sassy
Get your sass on by watching Mean Girls. You will be sure to get your fix.
Whatever the mood, there is movie to fit your needs! Put on your comfiest clothes and get watching!
