I’m not sure how you do it. I can be just about the most difficult person in the world at times, and you have had the job of raising me for the past 18 years.
Although I may not always show you how much I appreciate you, a day does not go by where I don’t count my blessings on how lucky I am to have you as my mom. Even with all of my flaws, you still show me unconditional love.
So, this one is for you, for putting up with me and how indecisive, expensive, and selfish I can be.
Thank you for giving me everything I could ever want in this world. I could ask for just about anything and you will always make it happen. I have wanted A LOT of things, so I can only imagine how expensive that gets.
When I wanted to go off to college, instead of continuing my education at home, you were more than supportive of my dream and have helped so much in making it come true. You have made so many sacrifices to give me the world, and for that, I will always be grateful.
Thank you for always supporting any decision I make. I have yet to meet a person who is more indecisive as I am, but you always find a way to support me. At this point in my life, I’ve had to make so many difficult decisions and you have not only supported me through them, but you’ve helped me as well. It is such a blessing to have someone like you in my life that I know will always be there for me if I need anything.
Thank you for showing me what it looks like to be a great mom. Someday I hope to be as selfless and loving to my children as you have been to me. No matter how tired you may be after your constant hard work, you always find a way to put my needs before your own. I hope that someday I can be half of the parent you are when it comes to raising my own kids.
Thank you for being a cool mom. You have let me grow and become my own person without overpowering me with rules. Because of this, I have become a more independent person and have learned how life works on my own. I appreciate all of the limits you have set for me, and I also appreciate you giving me my independence. You have worked so hard to make sure that I have a better life growing up than you did, and you have definitely succeeded.
Without you, I would not be the person I am today. I do not deserve to have someone as loving as you are as my mom, but I am so happy that I do. Not many girls out there can say that they have a mother like you. I have been blessed to have you in my life, and I couldn’t imagine a life without you. Thank you for all you do.
Love, Your Baby Girl
