It's the classic boy meets girl, or girl meets guy, gets to know each other and hoping they fall in love. No one questions it because society portrays it as finding love.
What if we could have a same-sex "Bachelor/Bachelorette"? There is a gay bachelor show, "Finding Prince Charming," on Logo TV. It's beautiful that there is a gay bachelor show because people should be allowed to find love just like heterosexual couples.
It's about time too! Why shouldn't other sexualities be allowed to confess their love for each other on national television? It is great entertainment as well as actually trying to find love. Although, some contestants might do it for the fame. I hope not, because I want to see two pure souls professing their love for one another.
One of them could confess their love with actual doves or next to a waterfall! While they are fully clothed of course.
If there was a lesbian bachelorette show, I would watch it too! Mainly because I love "The Bachelor/Bachelorette," so including other sexualities to find love is nice.
I'm not sure how long a same-sex "Bachelor/Bachelorette" would last on-air though because I've heard so many people say, "This society doesn't need gay love to be normal." Why, yes it does because gay love is still love.
It's nice to see more shows are being inclusive about sexuality, especially in dating shows such as this. It's probably similar to the heterosexual bachelor/bachelorette franchise in terms of drama.
Can you imagine the dates they could have? What if one of the dates was at Coachella? Oh, the loud music it would have! Or, a honeymoon date! Although, they wouldn't be married yet but it is a nice sentiment. Of course, the contestants wouldn't have to have sex or anything but maybe get to know each other. But, in countries they each pick.
Most people watch it for the romance, while I watch because of the drama. I enjoy seeing who is fighting with who or who might be exposed in terms of personality.
There is always a good girl/bad girl, or as I like to call them, an angel and a devil. Also, the contestants should wear outfits that resemble their "bad girl/good girl," just for fun.
It has seemed like different sexualities are being included not only in reality shows but movies/tv shows as well.
Shows such as the "Fosters," "Queer Eye," "Grace and Frankie," and "Everything Sucks."
I hope one day, heterosexual couples won't spew hate or Bible verses towards the LGBTQ+ community because it seems they spew Bible verses in order to justify their thought process.
Hayley Kiyoko also said in an interview she said her dream was to be the first lesbian bachelorette on an all-bachelorette show and to choose from 26 women to find love.
I would never want to apply to be a contestant but I would be for Hayley! Can you imagine? Her dating a potential fan and seeing the drama and dates she would plan? I hope Logo TV would pick it up and make it happen! Oh, it would be a romance come true.
