Moments Every Socially Awkward Person At A Christmas Party Knows To Be True As Told by "The Office"

When you initially receive your invitation and your friends encourage you to attend.

The moment when the friend who was supposed to go to the party with you bails at the last minute.

When you walk in and see how many people are there,

And you realize parties just aren't for you.

Realizing you don't know anyone at the party and don't have anyone to talk to.

So you find the nearest pet.

When someone tries to strike up a conversation with you.

Then you somehow get roped into a conversation with a group of people you don't care to talk to...

But you try to seem interested.

When you try to enjoy the party, but decide you'd rather go back into hiding.

And after too many uncomfortable encounters, you finally crack.

But somehow you finally make your escape.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment.
