25 Things You Do Or Have If You're The 'Mom' Of Your Friend Group That Prepares You For Motherhood

Amongst every friend group, there always tends to be one friend that is the 'mom' and takes care of everyone else. Now I don't know about you, but I am definitely the 'mom' of my friend group. It is something that I love and if you are the 'mom' of your group I bet you understand this feeling. That moment when you just love your friends so much you just end up taking care of them. Plus let's be real being the 'mom' of the friend group totally prepares you for being a real mom down the line.

2. You are the listener when any of your friends are having a bad day.

3. You also give advice to help them through those bad days.

4. You always have bandaids, ibuprofen, first aid kit, etc. on you or with you at all times .

15. And then remind them again when they don't do it an something is wrong.

16. You make sure they wake up and actually get ready.

17. You comfort whenever there is any kind of break up or heart break.

18. You make the birthday plans/ do something for birthday events.

19. You are always driving people places.

20. You help out in whatever way you can.

21. You decorate for most events.

22. Your apartment tends to be the one people come too.

23. You tend to always have some kind of snacks... and extra snacks too.

24. Sometimes you need a break from being the 'mom,'  but in the end...

25. You love being the 'mom'.

In the end, the 'mom' of the group is always going to be there for you whenever you need it. That is the perks of having one in your friend group. It is the fact that you have someone to go to if you need anything and that there is someone besides your family who can be there for you if you ever need them. Even if it might be crazy or annoying sometimes to have the 'mom' friend, we really just want to look out for you and protect you because we care about you. Now I know it may sound cheesy and something that sounds like what your mom would say. But I mean we aren't the 'mom' of the friend group for nothing.

We do it because we care!
