Mom,
I just wanted to say, it's okay.
It's okay that you don't always have it together. Sometimes you need to be sad. You’ve always been the one to hold it together for everyone. This time, I would do anything to hold it together for you. If I could move a mountain for you I would. Thankfully we have a God on our side that will. He heals the broken hearted, and that is my prayer for you.
Its okay that you're not always perfect. You have taught me so much by NOT being perfect. In my eyes, you're as good as it gets. From you I have learned as long as you stay humble and stay Godly, no matter how things work out, it’s going to be okay.
It’s okay things don’t always work out. You always put 110 percent into everything you do, You always try to make things work, but this time it didn’t at that is okay. You didn’t fail us, you didn’t fail you. You keep your poise and grace in the midst of the storm, and I hope to be just like you in hard times.
Not everyone gets the privilege of having a mom like you. A mom that is so strong and beautiful inside and out. I know I am a lucky one to be able to look up to someone like you. You’ve raised me well enough to be able to take on the world on my own, not fearing the things that fall in my way. Because of you, in the hard times I can tell you it’s okay, not because everything is fixed but because of the women that you are. It’s going to be okay because you have given God every ounce of you and he will carry you through. It’s going to be okay because you have a family that you have impacted in an amazing way that will stand behind you no matter how bad the storm gets. You won’t stand alone, ever.
Mom things aren’t always okay, but it will be okay because that is what you have taught me.
Matthew 11:28
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
