You will never see me graduate from school, get married, see my kids, or go through the up's and down's I experience throughout life.

Life is no fun without your grandma. Grandma's are supposed to spoil you in life. Always be there to tell you "you CAN do that" when your parents say you can't. Grandma's make sure food is always in your belly!! Which is a PLUS! Grandma's are special people; now here is why I miss mine.

You were always there to talk to, someone I could be myself with. We would stay up late at night talking about life. Every holiday was the BEST holiday, always went over the top with holiday decorations. Of course I miss being spoiled, but spoiled with your love and attention. I miss your laugh, your smile, and how can I not miss your cooking? I could totally go for a bowl of chili right now. You would always tell me I was a great singer even though I knew your ears needed a break from this god awful voice. You taught me how to pass my multiplication class WITHOUT cheating, now I'm a pro, with the help of my phone of course! You taught me about life, how life wasn't going to be easy, how you need to have thick skin. I would tell you about cute boys at school and you would always tell me what GREAT qualities I needed to look for in a guy. I remember brushing your hair and experimenting with different hair styles and you'd wear it around the house even if it looked like a rats nest. Every picture day at school you'd make sure that I'd always look my best and would always make me show you how I planned on smiling for the picture, which would end with me making some silly face and you giving me a scowled look. You would do anything to make me happy and for that I will always be thankful.

I could go on and on about all the reasons I appreciate you. I just want to say thank you, for always being there for me. Thank you for always knowing the right things to say to me. Thanks for protecting me through the good times and the bad. Support is a key word, thank you for SUPPORTING me. Thank you for picking me up when I was at my all time low. Thank you for being someone I could trust, and be so open with. Thanks for teaching me how to find a best friend, how to always cherish your friendship. Thanks for teaching me how to look at things from a different point of view.

I wish you were here with me now, I wish you could see everything I've accomplished. I wish you could see everything I plan on accomplishing. I wish you could see how I have grown into the adult you've influenced me to be.

Thank you for teaching me that it's okay to cry, it's okay to cry about you not being here. Thank you for teaching me life goes on, even when it feels like I cant go on anymore. Thank you for teaching me to think about what I say before I say it, no matter what mood I'm in. Thank you for teaching me what it feels like to lose someone that you love and cherish with your whole heart. Thank you for teaching me how to never miss out on memorable moments.

Thank you for teaching me that it's okay to live life with a piece of myself missing.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
